NIFT alumni working in key decision-making positions and as change, agents are instrumental in shaping the future of fashion business in India and abroad. Alumni are working at various levels in the industry as entrepreneurs, brand managers, quality controllers, designers, fashion and textile coordinators, merchandisers, production manager in leading national and international organisations. The four thousand plus alumni has become successful brands themselves and their creations have walked the ramps of Milan, Paris and other fashion destinations. They have dressed up celebrities across the globe, crafted exquisite jewellery and innovated lifestyle products and accessories. An active Alumni Association provides the platform for contribution to their alma mater for frequent interaction, mutual benefit and interaction with students to share their expertise and experiences. Strong network of alumni with NIFT and also among themselves has been facilitated by NIFT emails/s, groups and bulletin board.
